Plastic Mandala
Assemblage of Post-Consumer Materials
24” x 24”
Plastic Mandala is a traditional pattern made untraditional by the use of post-consumer waste. It is created primarily from bottle caps and the smaller caps from injectable medication vials donated by a local doctors. They had their O.R. nurses collect them for me. Medical supplies come in a variety of colors, sizes, and shapes and are a good example of the way society has benefited from the use of plastic.
