Working With the ECLC at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School

Although not the school mascot, the heron is a special icon at Heathwood Hall. The children in Lower School study ecology and habitats and have many opportunities to study the heron that lives in the pond. I worked with 3, 4, and 5 year olds to create this piece. Every day the children brought “Beautiful Stuff” to add to the assemblage. Their energy and enthusiasm was contagious.
