This piece was created for the show “Women Creating Women” that I had with figure painter, Bonnie Goldberg. It was a show by women, about women. We had been painting together for over 16 years in a weekly sketch group with other artists, working from figurative models. In this show, we chose to celebrate the women we love to paint as a way to celebrate all women, everywhere.
