Life changed the day my 4^th child was born. After 3 boys, a daughter! The realization that she would look to me as the female role model in her life made me look at my life differently. What would she see?

So began the journey of self-discovery. In the pursuit to teach Shannon to follow her passions and dreams, I began to follow my passions and dreams. This tiny child empowered me to be me. She has taught me so much.

For this show I am exhibiting a portrait of this amazing young lady. I empowered her to be herself by wearing what made her feel beautiful, as well as the expression she wanted to show. My girl!
